Louisa is completing Year 12 at Canberra’s Merici College. She has always enjoyed performing, particularly singing and acting. She started singing lessons at the age of 4 and enjoyed planning and performing shows for her family with her older sister, Marcella. She was in the Australian Girls Choir for 6 years, singing at many gigs and concerts including the memorial for Queen Elizabeth II at Australian Parliament House.
Throughout her school years Louisa performed in “anything and everything” including the musicals Alice in Wonderland and Legally Blonde Jr as well as the senior production of Shakespeare’s The Tempest. She has also sung at many school assemblies.
While most of her life revolves around the performing arts, some of her other interests include The Hunger Games book series, Epic the musical and folklore and mythology, particularly Greek mythology.
Louisa is ADHD-brained and Autistic – “hence my love of detail, information and a wide range of subjects!” – which she views as both a “blessing and a curse”. She hopes to continue performing as an adult.
She is very excited about her first professional performance and hopes to do the piece justice to the best of her ability.
