Kate is thrilled to return to the stage as Chorus Leader after a 10-year hiatus from performing. Previously she has been in national productions of Love’s Labour’s Lost (The Princess of France) and Pericles, Prince of Tyre (Diana) with the Shakespeare Globe Centre Australia. During her time away from the theatre, Kate focused on working in science communication as an Excited Particle at the Questacon National Science and Technology Centre, Canberra, and completing her medical training. She is now a GP Obstetrician in Canberra, with particular interests in skin medicine and mental health care. Along the way, she was humbled to be recognized as an ACT Young Woman of the Year and was named as a finalist for the ACT Australian of the Year awards. As a mother of two young girls, Kate is excited to show them that it’s never too late to reconnect with passions that are close to your heart and soul. She’s loving sharing the stage with a talented, supportive and dedicated cast and crew, and bringing outdoor Greek theatre to the people.
