“I am Nicole George, a performer and vocal coach with experience across theatre, character performance, television and film.
“My performance work includes character entertainment with WA Mermaids and musical theatre, including Filter Fun Park with Brightside Productions. I have also appeared on screen in Run (Binge) and Breakers (Netflix), and am currently filming Dead Centre with Salt and Honey Productions.
“Alongside performing, I work as a professional vocal coach, specialising in developing singers and performers through vocal technique, artistry and performance practice. My background in music education and performance informs my approach, with a strong focus on the relationship between voice, character and storytelling.
“I was previously a recipient of the Junior Theatre Broadway Ambassadorship, an experience that played an important role in my development as a performer and deepened my connection to musical theatre.
“While much of my experience has been in musical theatre, contemporary performance and character work, I am particularly pleased to be exploring classical theatre and the demands of classical text, particularly the relationship between language, voice, character and physicality.
“I am thrilled to be working with Greek Theatre Now and to have the opportunity to explore the complexities of Oedipus the King and the intricate relationships that drive its story.”
