“My creative journey began as a child growing up on the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia. I started to learn how to sew at the age of eight and although I went on to a thirty-year nursing career, I’ve remained passionately creative my entire life. Over the years I’ve run a quilting business and taught various disciplines in the textile and fashion industry including dressmaking, quilting, needle arts and leatherwork. I have qualifications in fashion and textiles with experience in Australia, the United States and the United Kingdom. I have worked on many productions over my career as a costume designer and have a strong presence within the Australian cosplay world. Above all, it is my passion for this industry and the satisfaction of seeing bespoke quality costumes adorning wonderfully gifted people that convinced me to consolidate my career as a costume designer. My creative knowledge, experience and skills allow me to offer a broad range of costume design, prop fabrication and cosplay creations, services and tuition for both stage and screen.”
