
Greek Theatre Now seeks 6 to 12 people for a Greek Chorus for its production of Sophocles’ Oedipus the King at the Saw Avenue Amphitheatre, Kings Park & Botanic Garden, Perth, Western Australia, 24-28 September 2026.
Auditions: Saturday 1 August, Perth, 10 am to 12 pm midday or 2 pm to 4 pm.

Wear comfortable clothing and shoes. There will be some movement. All experience levels welcome.
Greek Chorus work involves group and individual speaking, chanting, movement and basic vocal work. Expression through the body voice and mind. A strong voice, a sense of rhythm and good physical fitness and mobility are a plus.
Chorus members will receive a $250 honorarium. Rehearsals will be Saturday afternoon and Sunday mornings on some weekends. Performances are 24-28 September 2026. The Saturday 26 September performance is a “sunset performance” starting at 4 pm (after the AFL grand final).
