Crystal was last seen onstage as Ivy in Free Rain’s August Osage County (2024), for which she was nominated for an Ovation Award, Outstanding Supporting Performance in a Play. Previous roles include Lady Capulet in REP’s Romeo and Juliet (2023) and Mrs Eynsford-Hill in Tempo’s Pygmalion (2023). Prior to that she played Cynthia Murphy in Dear Evan Hansen (2018), Justice Charlier in Rock of Ages (2019) and Mrs Johnstone in Blood Brothers, (MAT Award, Best Actress) at the Morseby Arts Theatre, Papua New Guinea, where she worked and lived for several years pre-pandemic. Crystal is a drama/theatre teacher and school leader. In this role she has great pleasure directing and managing myriad drama and musical productions, as well as fostering the creative and personal growth of hundreds of young people through immersion in the performing arts. As a lifelong classical Greek theatre nerd, she is thrilled to be part of Antigone, one of the most powerful and moving plays ever written.
